How does the Reseller Program work?
OptiView resellers are chosen based on their proven ability to generate focused sales to a particular market segment and within a particular geography. Our resellers purchase OptiView products at a discounted price, and then resell them at a profit. The standard reseller discount is 30% off OptiView's published list prices, though resellers are free to set their own prices.

How is a reseller different from an affiliate?
The OptiView Reseller Program enables corporations with reach into strategic markets to offer OptiView products directly to their customer base, or as a value-added component with their own offerings. Resellers usually share ownership of customers, and provide support for products that have sold.
The OptiView Affiliate Program is an online revenue partnership in which we provide links (banners, buttons, and interactive forms) to www.optiview.com, and people place these links on their sites, generating revenue for themselves through commissions earned on all sales made through those links.
Who can be a reseller?
OptiView seeks resellers who are actively involved in selling products and services to companies with a Web presence.
How do I sign up?
Potential resellers need to call an OptiView representative at 703.450.8809. A member of our staff will be able to provide you with the necessary documents and information to join the program.
How is billing handled?
Typically, OptiView bills customers directly according to their license agreements, and passes on reseller commissions on a monthly basis.
Do you accept foreign accounts?
Yes. Our billing system can handle international currencies.
Do you supply customer support for my clients?
There are two types of resellers, and each handles customer support differently. Resellers are the primary customer contact. For distributors, OptiView is the primary customer contact.
What promotional materials are available?
OptiView has developed various marketing collateral pieces for all of our products. In addition, there are detailed FAQ pages for all products available on our Web site at www.optiview.com.
How am I protected from my customers buying direct?
OptiView values its reseller relationships, and works hard to make them successful. When a potential customer calls sales representatives, the reps always ask how they heard about OptiView and if they were dealing with a reseller. If so, or even if we think a customer could be better served by a local reseller, we get the reseller involved and grant credit for the sale.
Customers are protected in two ways. Customers referred through the resellers Web site are designated through a cookie that is set in the browser when they first visit the OptiView site, so even if they purchase months later, they are still identifiable as your customer. Resellers are also responsible for submitting call reports of current prospects to assure that proper credit is given to the reseller. Resellers are also protected by the fact that reseller agreements sometimes include a specific market and/or geography. If any companies within that geography or market space contact OptiView directly, they are referred back to the reseller for assistance.
