 The OptiView Acceleration Engine
The OptiView Acceleration Engine is the platform upon which all OptiView products are built. Each product draws upon the technologies it needs from the Engine for the traffic it is accelerating and where it sits on the network. The Engine's rich functionality offers proprietary, intelligent image optimization; proprietary text optimization with standards-based compression; and image manipulation for on-the-fly graphics repurposing, editing, and customization.

- Customizes each image to the "magic point"—byte size is reduced with no discernable image quality degradation
- Automatically reduces byte size and color palette, giving preference to dominant color fields in the image such as skin tones, text, edges, and backgrounds
- Analyzes image color and composition for each individual image
- Optimizes the following image types: JPG, GIF, animated GIF, BMP
- Automatically converts images to the most efficient format (i.e., converts JPG into GIF or vice versa)
